The essay I chose to read is, Am I Blue?

Q. walker compares blue to a human being. In what ways are the horse and a person similar?

A. to me they are similar because they both get hungry and they both have there own ways of getting food. but two different ways of getting food fit the same castigator they both got food either by talking or by how the horse would react is by stomping its feet when the guy came out of his house.

        What are we afraid of  in homeless children? diseases, getting sick, and other bad things.

        The paragraph that illustrates government indifference to the homeless? to me that paragraph would be number 27 because the government helps them for a day and then basically tells them to get of the front porch.

         Which paragraph illustrates the public's fear of the homeless? I think paragraph 6 sums it up on how people where afraid to touch the old mans hands.

         Has my perception of the homeless changed? Yes i think the homeless deserve a second chance in life and they should  have a program in the us that gets them back on there feet.

My Narrative Essay Will Be About How I tried out for and oscermire wiener contest. it will be about when i was 5 years old and they had try outs and you had to sing the oscermire wiener song on camera.
and how i was scared and the things i did in the try out.

#2 chapters 4&5

I thought chapter 4 was kinda boring. all that I got out of it was to enhance my reading levels ,summarize the main points of a story and use reading, the internet, movies and television programs as a source. Chapter 5 was more interesting to me in the book it talked about ways to describe things we like to look at and eat and listen
to. we should use action words and descriptive words that make other readers (the audience) want to taste, smell, touch, or here things.

#1 How I Feel About Reading And Writing

              I feel that Reading And Writing can be help. I believe it will help me be more critical about what I read and will help me make decisions about facts and opinions on weather I believe it is true or not. And i think critical reading and writing can be help full because it will help you memorize facts and other stuff you read because we are writing the stuff we read and underlining them and taking notes and asking our selves questions it helps us better understand what we are reading. I also like how chapter one points out the errors in logic because that can benefit and help me to be more careful about what i write because i realize every thing i write may not be as true as the next person who writes there statements.
